Backing underdogs can be profitable, but only if you pick your spots right. I never just bet on a big name to lose—I look for:
Fatigue Factor – If a favorite just played a 5-set war or a tough back-to-back schedule, they’re vulnerable. 🥵
Surface Mismatch – Some players dominate on hard courts but struggle on clay. Underdogs with a surface advantage are gold.
Mental Toughness – Some top players crack under pressure. Look for underdogs who thrive in long rallies & tiebreaks.
